The Idea Generation Workshop held in Poland is part of a series of workshops involving representatives of the Baltic countries. Each of the Baltic states hosts one of these meetings, which provide opportunities for participants to exchange experiences and improve cooperation between the countries in the region in relation to common challenges and potential for regional development.

The workshop will provide a platform for discussion between experts and maritime sector practitioners, and for the presentation of the Polish approach to the greatest challenges to the maritime industry in the Baltic Sea region, with the aim of developing ideas into specific innovative projects and partnerships. The particular focus of the workshop will be the issues of Safe Shipping and Clean Shipping. According to the event's partners from Sweden and Finland, likely topics within these areas include: ensuring reliable navigation conditions, the reduction of emissions in shipping, digitalisation and automation in the maritime industry, the development of winter navigation, and preparing for and reacting to accidents at sea.

The workshop is aimed at representatives of shipping companies, ports, maritime authorities, scientists and others involved in the maritime industry.

The event will be held in English. Participation in the workshop is free of charge and includes lunch.
